ABOUT

A practical AI-powered savings assistant.

The Way to Save helps everyday US households find realistic ways to spend less — without connecting a bank account or tracking every transaction.

WHAT WE DO

Help people find realistic next steps.

The Way to Save combines an AI savings plan, practical guides, and curated savings opportunities so you can take action with more confidence. We focus on the decisions that tend to have the biggest impact — bills, subscriptions, groceries, and everyday spending.

OUR APPROACH

Simple, manual, and privacy-aware.

We do not require a bank login. You enter a few details about your spending, and we use them to generate your plan. We do not store your raw financial inputs. The goal is useful direction from minimal input.

WHY WE BUILT THIS

Most savings advice is either too vague or too complicated.

Generic tips like “make a budget” or “cut your coffee” do not help much when you are trying to find $100 a month in a real household with real bills. And many financial tools either want your bank login or ask you to track every transaction manually.

The Way to Save was built to sit in the middle — practical, specific, and privacy-aware. You answer a short form about your situation and get a personalized savings plan that tells you where to look first, how much you might save, and what to do next.

No account required. No bank connection. No raw financial inputs stored.

HOW THE AI WORKS

Your inputs shape the plan.

When you complete the savings form, your answers are sent to our AI savings engine, which matches your situation to relevant savings opportunities — subscription review logic, bill negotiation strategies, deal matching, grocery tips, and energy-saving ideas — and returns a ranked savings plan.

Your raw inputs are used only to generate that plan and are not stored by us. They may be processed by our AI provider solely to return your savings plan. The only personal information we save is your email address if you choose to receive your plan by email.

The AI provides general savings guidance. It is not financial advice. Savings estimates are approximate and based on common US household patterns. Your actual results will vary.

OUR CONTENT

Guides and deals are reviewed before they go live.

Every guide on The Way to Save is written to give you practical, actionable steps — not generic advice you could find anywhere. We update guides when information changes and remove anything that is no longer accurate or useful.

Deals and savings opportunities are manually reviewed before appearing on the site. We check that each offer is active, the terms are clear, and the savings opportunity is useful. Where possible, we mark deals with a last-verified date so you know how recent the check was.

Where we link to products or services, we may earn an affiliate commission at no extra cost to you. This is how we keep the site free. It does not change our goal: to feature savings opportunities that are practical and useful. See our full disclosure for details.
